The doctoral study of informatics is intended mainly for those who want to engage in research in the field of informatics, ie the solution of new problems that no one has thought about yet, or has not yet been satisfactorily solved. This is an opportunity for the doctoral student to find the area he enjoys most and to devote himself fully to it for several years. The main role of the tutor is to guide and guide the student in his research activities and together with the relevant department to create the best possible conditions for creative activity.
Important dates
One of the most important steps to a successful PhD is to find a suitable tutor and topic that interests you. Although you may be applying for a PhD in April, it is important to contact a potential tutor as soon as possible (during January) for a suitable topic to be listed in a given year (most trainers do not list a topic unless they have a suitable candidate). Early contact with the trainer can also help you gain additional scholarships and other funding for your research.
